Your role: You oversee the overall supplier management follow up of a range of selected approved service providers used to manage Molsheim Distribution warehousing & transport activities operation. This position will focus as well on supporting & coordinating in the organization and with service providers all EHS, Quality, Regulatory Affairs & Trade Compliance requirements. You are in charge to facilitate and translate Merck's business needs to our partners in terms of service level, decisions, issues, audits etc.? with the support of distribution operations and all transversal support functions: Quality, Procurement, Merck Global Transportation, Trade Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Excellence, Sales, etc.? You ensure the risks management by formalizing & updating continuously Business Continuity Plan with potential risks. You are the primary point of contact for EHS, Quality, Regulatory Affairs & Trade Compliance to maintain and/or implement regulated requirements (e.g. quality standards, GDP standards, supplier?s certification, coordinate internal & external audits, etc.?) With the support of all support functions, you develop EHS, quality & compliance knowledges and culture within the organisation. You ensure objectives and processes are defined, risks and opportunities identified, quality performances monitored, and continuous improvement activities executed. You act as a quality delegate for Molsheim Distribution and you manage ISO process reviews in accordance with MOL Hub procedures & calendars. (inc. External Providers performances review & analysis). Who you are: Master?s/Engineer degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 5 years? experience in Supply Chain, experience in Quality, EHS or Supplier Management is an additional asset Experience in team management will be appreciated Ability and willingness to work in a global cross-functional environment Ability to promote EHS, Quality, Regulatory Affairs & Trade Compliance culture Autonomous, rigorous, with acknowledged analysis capacity Capacity to assess priorities and meet agreed upon deadlines Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate across boundaries, build cross-functional collaboration, and influence without direct authority Strategic mind set Fluent English (written and spoken).
