Senior Practice Manager

Description: DESCRIPTIONAt AWS , we are looking for a Practice Manager with a successful record of leading enterprise customers through a variety of transformative projects involving IT Strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid operations.Professional engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.Responsibilities include:· Engage customers - collaborate with enterprise sales managers to develop strong customer and partner relationships and build a growing business in the Nordics, driving adoption in key markets and accounts.· Sell engagements ? that can span from short on-site projects proving the value of to massive migration projects that include the movement of thousands of applications and the automation of the infrastructure to house them.· Coach and teach - collaborate with field sales, pre-sales, marketing, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use such as Elastic Compute (EC2), Simple Storage Service (S3), Simple DB/RDS databases, Identity and Access Management (IAM), etc.· Deliver value - lead high quality delivery of a variety of customized engagements with partners and enterprise customers in the commercial sector.· Lead great people - attract top IT talent (architecture, security, big data, operations, IT Transformation) to build high performing teams of consultants with superior technical depth, and outstanding customer relationship skills· Be a customer advocate - Work with engineering teams to convey partner and enterprise customer feedback as input to technology roadmapsMore about the teamBlu Age is an AWS Mainframe Migration Service. Blu Age automatically refactors and modernizes COBOL, PL/1, RPG, COBOL/400 applications (including files and database systems) into agile Java/Spring Boot applications deployed into AWS cloud leveraging AWS Managed Services. Blu Age Mainframe Migration introduces key elements to revalue legacy applications that are critical for the business. Blu Age brings agility and time to market, i.e., it slices and decomposes monolithic applications into independent components - MacroServices allowing business process recomposition into horizontally scalable features enabling backup recovery and elasticity.
