Description: Le poste About the jobThe Storage Team is a pillar of Scaleway. This team not only develops the Scaleway Elements Storage products (Block and Object Storage), it also supports all the other Scaleway Elements products that rely on Storage (Instances, Database, Registry, Kubernetes, and more) for proper usage. Not to mention our Dedibox Storage offers!In a challenging environment, and within a team that manages thousands of Storage servers across various regions, you will be responsible for developing, automating and maintaining Block Storage, S3 and cold storage in the SRE storage team.This service launched by Scaleway offers resilient, redundant, and high-availability storage for its numerous clients. Your missions will require programming, automation, and architecture skills. On top of your daily activities within your team, you will need to interact with all of Scaleway?s teams, especially Instance, Network, Deployment, Hardware and Platform. Profil recherché Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experienceExperience with continuous integrationExperience working in a 24/7/365 environmentExperience with highly available storage stacksPassion for tooling and automationBasic understanding of C/C++Experience in SQL databasesExperience in Key/Value storesExperience in load-balancing (Haproxy)Excellent command of EnglishFamiliarity with Internetworking and BGPFamiliarity with low-level Hardware protocols (SATA, NVME)Familiarity with CEPHProficiency in configuration management (Ansible)Proficiency in observability & alerting (eg; Prometheus, Grafana, OpsGenie)Proficiency in network protocols Layer 3-7 of the OSI modelProficiency in distributed Linux environmentsProficiency in high-level programming in Python, Go, or similarCode, peer review, and deployCustomer support in relation to your product Deploy infrastructures in new Availability ZonesReact to failures in collaboration with other teamsPartner with the Datacenter teamsPresent your work during tech meetingsBring forward new ideas for our future featuresBe on callThis position can be either: - Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France), full/partial remote is possible - Fully remote in EuropeWe treat every candidate equally in our recruitment process.
