Currently AWS supports eBusiness Suite, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Hyperion and several other Oracle enterprise applications. Oracle customers can also use their existing Oracle database licenses on Amazon EC2 with no additional license fees. So, whether your customer is a long-time Oracle customer or a new user, AWS can get them started quickly.The Oracle on AWS team engages Oracle enterprise applications customers through two routes to market (RTM): the AWS field and the AWS partner ecosystem. We are seeking a sales professional to extend our customer relationships focused on Oracle on AWS. The candidate will contribute to the overall performance of the business globally measured by revenue growth, net new customer wins, Oracle migrations, and reference wins. You will have a broad role ? part market maker, part operator, and part general manager ? and will build a strategy focused on winning new customer segments and growing existing customer segments for the long term. As a self-starter willing to operate in a multifaceted way, you should also have experience in market development of cloud infrastructure and/or enterprise applications. The role will require working with the partner ecosystem to help secure lighthouse customers for new use cases, build scalable go-to-market programs, and further develop partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the go-to-market definition and execution of AWS?s strategy for Oracle on AWS in North America.You possess a business background that enables you to engage at the CXO level, deep experience with Oracle workloads, knowledge of Oracle specific infrastructure solutions that will help drive the Oracle on AWS ecosystem, as well as a sales background that enables you to easily interact with enterprise customers, partners, and the AWS field teams. You also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS· 7 ? 10+ years of direct/matrix sales, business development, and program management experience· Prior experience selling and growing Oracle applications businesses· Experience working with Oracle partners and the Oracle ecosystem· Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners· 50% travel requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Experience selling Oracle Applications, Technology, and Infrastructure· Track record of building rapport with senior customer executives (e.g. CEO, CIO, CTO), building close relationships, and closing large revenue accounts· Motivated self-starter, proactive, and action-oriented· Strategic problem solving and collaboration skills· Presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences (both verbal and written)· Experience working with cloud computing and related infrastructureOur team is dedicated to supporting new members.
