Description: Sheffield - Internal Sales Apply Job title Sheffield - Internal Sales Contract Type Regular Publication date 2021-10-06 Country United Kingdom How you'll make an impact: Take and process sales orders from customersDeliver goods to customersServe gas bottles to customers in the yardCheck customers vehicles for suitability and assist customers with cylinder selectionProcess and record goods in accuratelyStore and organise warehouse stock and arrange in store merchandiseBe responsible for effecting an efficient and satisfactory delivery service to internal (branch) customers and external customersMaintain the branch price file, office catalogue library and product literaturePromote and actively ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the office, stores and trade counterGoods purchasing under the direction of the Branch ManagerProcess cash and card payments over the counter securely and responsiblyTake initiative by informing regular customers of new products or services and price changesListen to and resolve customers' complaints regarding products or servicesAnswer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selectionBe instrumental in accurate and timely stock countsAnswer telephones to provide information and receive ordersProvide information about items, such as availability, operation or description We'd love to hear from you if you have: A full, clean UK driving licence - including a valid forklift licencePrevious experience within a warehouse management roleDemonstrated ability of working within a fast paced environment, maintaining high levels of customer serviceKnowledge of engineering and welding processes and requirements is advantageous but not essential as full training will be givenA working knowledge of the health and safety requirements of the HASAW ActKnowledge of ISO9002 is desirable but not essential as training will be given Additional InformationLocation: SheffieldSalary: £20000 per annum dependent on experience - Extended parental support leave, open to discussing flexible working, mentoring schemes, perks at work, dedicated talent development team to help your career progress, generous pension scheme, mental health wellbeing ambassador supportClosing Date: 05/10/2021 Why work for us?Air Liquide is a global leader in the gas industry not by chance, but through our constant advances in the technological field.
