MAKE IT#1 Group wide digital transformation is reshaping Imerys Digital landscape, encompassing 5 pillars: a set of common language and processes, a global ERP Core Model S4/Hana based (Opera Project), a common collaboration platform (GNOC, GSOC, unified WAN) and a common unified IT organization. MAKE IT #1 aims at:Implementing common IT processes and tools,Harmonizing & rationalizing the IT landscape (processes, infrastructure and applications),Supporting existing programs and preparing the future (Industrial, Commercial Excellence, etc...)In order to enable seamless development and roll out of these new tools and processes, Imerys IT is evolving, in 2021, from an IT with strong regional platforms, to a more global organization, to enable a strategic & consistent partnership with the BAs & functions as well as simplifying and harmonizing the IT landscape. The purpose of the IT Opera Business Solution Architect - Transport & Logistics is to:Contribute to Imerys? transformation by designing a core solution for transportation and logistics and support its implementation in the roll-out waves, as part of the Opera program.Design, build and continuously adapt the Opera core model for transportation and logistics to support Imerys businesses processes evolution.Contribute to the success of the Opera program by providing a functional and technical drive to solution components during and after the Opera rollouts across Imerys Business Areas.JOB SCOPE & DIMENSIONSOpera Scope:ERP : SAP S4/HANAApplications designed to support Opera processes and which will be part of the Opera roll-out in addition to SAP ERP (Transwide). Interfaces Between SAP ERP and satellite group applications (Workday, SalesForce.com, Magnitude, Finario, Synertrade, Concur, eCash, BI Booster) or outsourced solutions (Transwide, Payroll, EDI with suppliers and customers) in its functional area.KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIESOpera Core model:Gather the business requirements and analyze them.Design and build the core solution in collaboration with the Business Process Owners.Provide relevant test scenarios for each process under its responsibility.Support the users during the acceptance testing.Ensure the related documentation is up-to-date and available.Opera Program execution - roll-out waves:During the entity assessment phase,Contribute to the assessment questionnaire and to the execution of the discovery workshops,Raise, analyze, validate or reject change requests,Provide Core Model documentation and guidelines.During the Build and test phase,Contribute to the validation of the change requests and present them to the Wave team,Participate to Core Model Alignment and localization workshops,Contribute to the project scoping for alignment tasks to fit to the Opera business processes,Perform tests for Change requests before releasing them to the wave.Data conversion activities:Maintain the data collection files technical data structures, technical rules, according to business processes,Contribute to the presentation of the standard data methodology & data content and assess data extraction possibility and enhancements needs.Support the Key Users training and testing by,Maintaining the training documentation up-to-date,Supporting the Wave IT Expert during their testing of change requests,Supporting the User Acceptance and Adoption Tests,Helping organize demos on critical end-to-end business flows.Contribute to cut-over activities.Contribute to hypercare (post-golive support).Opera support:Act as the level 3 support for live entities for any Transportation & Logistics related escalated by level 2.Transfer the knowledge to level 2 support (Opera Factory) in a continuous way, to ensure level 2 is always up-to-date with the solution.Document the ticket resolution and maintain the knowledge database up-to-date.Identify and assess the change requests.
