Software Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics Intern - Secure underwater communications streams for robotic subsea inspection (6 months)

Description: Responsibilities and Duties : Identify suitable encryption technologies and evaluate existing open-source encryption libraries. Investigate licensing options. Propose a technical solution addressing the need of securing underwater data stream Implement a proof of concept of the solution, evaluate the performances Design/Conduct experiments with simulated data or with our pool testing facility in Boston, or with a real vessel (TBD). Code tested, commented, and archived (git-Devops) Results to be presented to stakeholders and relevant internal technical communities Design report in English Exposition to the field of underwater robotics and related problematics Interact with research scientists from our research center in Boston Develop technical understanding and get ownership on the design of a secure streaming solution Qualification: Master?s degree ? 2nd year or final year of Engineering School Competencies: Programming: C++/Python Some knowledge in Telecom and Encryption is a big plus Fluent in English
