As a Software Developer, you will produce scalable software solutions. You?ll be part of a cross-functional team that?s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Your mission at Webhelp

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Write, modify, and debug software for client applications. 
  • Use source debuggers and visual development environments. 
  • Test and document software for client applications. 
  • Write code to create single-threaded, multi-threaded or user interface event driven applications, either stand-alone and those which access servers or services.

    • What you will be doing at Webhelp

    Work on the project to create the Platform for Cisco Business-Critical Services (BCS). This platform brings BCS services to customers such as Public Sector, Federal Government and others having strong privacy requirements. As part of these requirements the entire software stack is mandated to run in an Air-Gapped setting, with no external connectivity to Cisco, cloud or any other internet destinations. You will be requested to create software components that together make the Platform. This work has several streams:

    1. Foundational work: OS-level (Linux), virtualization, containers, filesystems,

    2. Container-level infrastructure (Docker Swarm)

    3. Data-related layers (collection, transformation, multiplexing, retention)

    4. Analytics Engines: work on porting or adapting existing engines, reusing existing Intellectual Capital)

    5. Security aspects: encryption, data access policies, IC protection, Enterprise secret management integration

    What we are looking for

  • Native or Proficient in English (C1/C2)
  • Python experience designing and implementing Python applications that are not typical web applications is highly desired along with rapid prototyping experience
  • Experience in Containers & Docker, APIs & Microservices
  • Experience in Databases / SQL, data ETL
  • General understanding of computer security, typical vulnerabilities and secure coding
  • Experience in general networking (L2/L3, IP, SSL/TLS, sockets, NAT)
