Integration Test Engineer of industrial ATS software products

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

  • Integrate several module of Iconis Product with project specific development and data preparation.
  • Ensure minimum functional requirement to start V&V activities.

    • MISSIONS:

  • Participation in product design review
  • Specification and execution of integration test (data configuration of the product and module interface test)
  • Follows processes and suggests improvements
  • Is the technical referent for project support
  • Designs and develops test cases matching software requirements and use cases
  • Executes integration test campaigns
  • Checks the testability of architecture while they are specified
  • Set-up test campaign by using test management tooling
  • Manage test cases life cycle by applying relevant methods and tooling
  • Recommends priority and severity levels on problems faced
  • Prepare data and execute data preparation tools
  • Manages the technical status of test platforms, is the referent of specific test tools
  • Specifies test tooling, validates deliveries
  • Designs and Implements test scripts 
  • Contributes to defining workload estimate
  • Writing of integration report
  • reports progress
  • Understands product objectives and content

    • PROFILE:

    Responsibilities:

  • Is the owner of the assigned part of test campaigns and accountable of the reliability of quality status.

    • Behavioural Skills / Competencies:

  • Autonomous and proactive, reliable, pragmatic, problem solving attitude, team spirit

    • Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Understanding of system and software architecture
  • Having references in software C++/C# development and software integration
  • Some knowledge of script language (python, perl, basch ?)
  • SQL
  • Experienced on some test tooling environments: test campaign management, requirement management and change request tools, test automation.
  • Experienced on transport signalling systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of OPC technology

    • Educational Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree

    • Desired Knowledge / Experience:

  • 3 years & +, first testing experience, preferably on industrial products having reliability or safety constraints.
